Monty was our second Malamute and quickly settled into the pack, joining Ruby in sled dog races at a year old.
He was a natural in harness right from the start and his strength has made a word of difference.

Monty is a big and strong boy, weighing in at over 45kg's. He has passed his Kennel Club Good Citizen Bronze award and is now working towards the Silver Award. Monty has also achieved his Working Team Dog award from the Alaskan Malamute Cloub of America. He also enjoys agility and weight pull, he has pulled over 900lbs so far and is improving all the time.
Monty loves to jump up at his favourite friends and give them bear-hugs and ear washes and when relaxing at home is happiest sitting on a nice comfortable lap!

Monty's other favourite things are food (his idea of edible is very different to ours), swimming, running in harness with Ruby, stealing sticks from Harvey and playing with Basil.

When we got Ruby, we didn't intend to get a second Malamute - but as several other owners warned us, they are addictive - and now we are so glad that we did.
